Terms of Service

JobNote is operated by Anthony Hunter trading as JobNote ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to these terms. Contact: JobNote.Team@gmail.com.

1. The service

JobNote is a WhatsApp assistant and web dashboard for tradespeople. It turns text, voice notes and photos into invoices and quotes, logs jobs, sends payment reminders, weekly summaries and servicing reminders. You are responsible for checking every invoice and quote before you send it, and for the accuracy of prices, VAT and CIS figures.

2. Free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access. A card is needed to start the trial. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts automatically on day 8. One trial per person or business.

3. Plans and payment

• Monthly: £30 per month.
• Yearly: £300 per year.

Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are handled by our payment partner Paddle.com, who act as the merchant of record and may add applicable taxes at checkout. WhatsApp messaging and automations are included in the price.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time in two taps from Plan & billing in your dashboard. Cancelling during the free trial means you will not be charged. Cancelling a paid plan stops the next renewal and you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for.

5. Refunds

If you are charged and you are unhappy, email us within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full — no questions asked. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel to stop future charges. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Paddle.

6. Your data

Your invoices, customers and settings belong to you. If your plan ends, your data is kept so you can pick up where you left off when you re-subscribe. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Fair use

The service is for genuine trade work by one business. Do not use JobNote to send spam, unlawful messages or to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

8. Liability

We work hard to keep JobNote reliable but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits your rights under UK consumer law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we change prices we will tell you at least 30 days before it affects your plan.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
